All About Jill

I am short, blonde, bright, & curious. I work as a children's librarian and love it. I also assistant-teach martial arts. I'm in hot pursuit of both a Private Pilot's license & a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. I'm also a cook, adventurer, avid reader, and many other things. The single most defining characteristic of my life at present is busy-ness. I am busy, busy, busy! In addition to all those activities, I try to spend as much time as possible with loved ones, particularly my darling niece and nephew, who are just 3 and 1, respectively.

What's Important to Jill:

Happiness is: that incredible smell when fresh garlic hits hot olive oil, the change in a student when they finally "get it", making something you're proud of and then giving it away, the open road (and the road home), no rocks under the tent, cooking with a friend, "I fixed it and the damn thing actually works!", the way little kids will sing and dance and play with you without caring if either of you knows how, time spent on the water, having a Grand Adventure and coming home in one piece...
